From working on static sculptural pieces, to the creative challenges of figuring out how to make a light that can be smashed on stage every night, the diversity of skills required for prop building has always been a draw for me. In a field that is always creative and collaborative, the variety of work I encounter as a prop builder continually challenges me to flex my creative muscles, hone my problem-solving skills, and grow as both an artist and a builder.
